Revolutionizing Network Accountability with a Seamless App Design
- UI/UX Design
About the Client
FCC’s (Federal Communications Commission) Speed Test app empowers users to verify network speed in their area, ensuring providers meet their connectivity promises! The Federal Communications Commission regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite, and cable in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories.
The app enables users to measure network speed, identify poor performance areas and directly challenges providers using real-time data. By focusing on transparency and user empowerment, the FCC bridges the gap between users and network providers in a meaningful way.
About the Project
Mozark approached Heigh10 for the FCC project to revamp its app’s UI/UX design, aiming to enhance user engagement and simplify access to its groundbreaking features. With unique functionalities like real-time speed testing, location-specific coverage insights, and an in-app reporting system, FCC required a design that was intuitive, visually appealing, and aligned with its mission of network accountability.
The Solution
Heigh10 delivered a streamlined and intuitive UI/UX design that amplified the app’s core features. Key elements of the redesign included:
- Simplifying navigation for effortless user interaction.
- Enhancing the visual layout to emphasize critical functionalities like speed tests and coverage analysis.
- Designing an in-app reporting tool to help users seamlessly challenge network providers.
- Ensuring a responsive experience across all devices for greater accessibility.
By combining function with aesthetics, the redesign makes it easier for users to interact with the FCC’s powerful tools, empowering them to demand accountability and make informed decisions about their network providers.
